About me
Sofía Sunyer is a jewelry workshop located in Madrid, dedicated to preserving the value of craftsmanship.
Founded by Sofía Sunyer Paternina, the workshop was born out of a desire to keep the tradition of jewelry alive, combining technique, heritage, and passion to create pieces that transcend time.
In Rome, I learned the techniques of gem setting, lost wax casting, and gemology. Since then, I have devoted myself to jewelry, guided by the pursuit of beauty and the conviction that a piece of jewelry is much more than a simple adornment.
Back in Madrid, I had the opportunity to meet great jewelers who, with generosity and experience, accompanied me at the beginning of this journey. After several years as an apprentice in a gem-setting workshop, I launched my own jewelry workshop, where craftsmanship is at the heart of every creation.
My inspiration stems from ancient traditions, from Etruscan and Byzantine art to the splendor of Mughal jewelry and the sophistication of the Renaissance, reinterpreting this legacy in timeless pieces that celebrate the purity of gold and the light of precious stones.

The legacy of goldsmithing is at the heart of the workshop. All jewelry is made entirely in Madrid using traditional craftsmanship. Each piece is crafted individually, without molds, and carefully adapted to the needs of each customer. We work to the highest standards of quality to ensure that each creation meets expectations and lasts as a piece of jewelry destined to accompany its owner throughout their life.
